About Me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)* in both California and Oregon and offer virtual/telehealth therapy for folks living in these states.
As a queer, trans, and Latinx therapist, I’m passionate about supporting healing in my communities. I have specialized expertise in working with LGBTQIA+ communities, especially transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, gender diverse, gender fluid, and gender expansive folks. I view our therapeutic relationship as a crucial starting point of healing. I incorporate my initial training as a relational psychodynamic therapist with additional training in emotionally focused therapy (EFT), attachment theory, family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I use LGBTQIA+ affirming, social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative approaches with the aim of creating a safe space for you to share and unpack your experiences. I’m also sex-positive, kink-aware, and use weight-neutral approaches in my practice.
I offer individual therapy, relationship/couples therapy, consultation, and training. For over a decade, I’ve provided therapy, mental health services, consultation, and training in a variety of settings, including community mental health, schools, specialty clinics, and hospitals & health systems.
